Trey Hendrickson Out for Ravens Game Following Surgery

Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson will miss the upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans due to surgery on his right hand’s broken finger. Hendrickson, who sustained the injury during the season’s opener, underwent a procedure to correct the issue after playing the last two games with the injury taped up.
The loss of Hendrickson is a significant blow to the Ravens’ defense, particularly in their pass rush. Hendrickson has been a key player since joining the team, displaying formidable defensive skills that have led him to accumulate one sack and a pressure rate of 17.6%, ranking him sixth in the NFL this season.
Ravens coach Jesse Minter expressed confidence in Hendrickson’s swift recovery. “We were able to get the finger fixed,” he said. “We think it will be very, very short term. It’s a quick way to get that fixed and get him back. I think that’s going to be best for us moving forward long term,” Minter explained. The team will now lean on outside linebackers Mike Green and possibly rookie Ethan Burke to fill Hendrickson’s role against the Titans.
Baltimore also faces other injury challenges, notably starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley’s toe issue, which has made his status uncertain for Sunday’s game. However, Coach Minter seemed optimistic about Stanley’s chances to play, highlighting his progress during practice.
